Giemme Spoleto allows you to choose the size of the rectangular pizza peel according to the diameter of the pizzas you intend to prepare.
The 33x33 cm peel is ideal for 33 cm pizzas.
The 36x36 cm peel is ideal for 36 cm pizzas.
Perforated peels offer numerous advantages, greatly easing the work of the pizzaiolo:
• Lighter weight: the holes reduce the material of the peel, making it easier to handle.
• Reduced friction: the rounded and smoothed holes allow the dough to slide easily, enabling fast and precise loading.
• Less flour in the oven: the holes let excess flour fall through, preventing burns and bitter taste. This also reduces the need to clean the baking surface, simplifying the pizzaiolo’s work.
This peels set is available in two different lengths. The choice of the length of the handle depends on the depth of the oven. In general, you must ensure that the peel allows you to easily do all pizza baking operations.
